The most common predisposing factor for a COA extraction of upper posterior teeth (usually first second molars). aim this study was carry out literature review with emphasis on clinical implications treatment alternatives through update information interest. Discussion: various techniques have been proposed management AOC, among are local flaps, as well use biomaterials, given favorable results in closing defect. Conclusion: AOC has purpose prevent its progression AFO, development sinusitis and/or defect increases; To do this, clinician must be familiar based patient's needs.
